Ferhana Mohamed

Ferhana Mohamed‘I am a graduate from Winchester School of Art and design with a BA Hons in fashion and textiles, specializing in knitwear. I am passionate about working within the community, creating innovative work of artistic merit and promoting the beauty and worth of textiles as an art form to a wider audience. Since graduating in 1998 I have worked on a variety of commissioned projects for various organisations. Currently, I work part time at Slough Grammar School teaching GCSE and A-Level Textile Technology and Art. As well as teaching, I am also a freelance artist. I can think of nothing more rewarding than sharing my skills and expertise. If I can inspire just a few of those I work with to feel challenged, excited and committed to explore this art form, then I will feel I have really achieved something.’
