The Creative Academy

The Heart of Slough – Creative Academy is part of the wider national iCi (Inclusion in the Creative Industries) project. The aim of the project is to reach out to the untapped potential of creative individuals, and to support them by creating community networks that will help turn their talent into viable businesses.

It is a capacity-building collaboration, offering an exciting opportunity to realise the potential for creative success through inspiring events combined with mentoring, workshops and showcasing.

A key aspect in the success of the academy is the close working relationship established with the culturally diverse communities within Slough, and small businesses. One groups targeted within the Slough Creative Academy is Asian Women in Art. To find out more about this project, click here.
