Future talent gets schmoozing

Boozy Schmooze is a regular creative industries networking event held in the Birmingham city centre's Sunflower lounge. ?The ethos behind our get-togethers is to meet others that work or have an interest in the creative industries, promote our projects, maybe cook up some new ones?. say founder members and Schmooze hosts Anne-Marie Pope and Sorrelle White.

Only this Schmooze was different. Throughout the night two sets of EQUAL beneficiaries showcased their work.
A group of talented vocalists (pictured right Claire Bell Singing ?Granted?) , from Pato Bantons Raw talent course stunned a large crowd in the intimate surroundings of the Sunflower lounge basement bar, while up on the Mezzanine Hi8us beneficiaries (from the Strip search project) projected images of their comic strip illustrations while mingling with industry mentors to make much needed contacts
and get advice on their portfolios.

The evening was a resounding success and gave the Schmooze organisers an opportunity to trial a different style of schmooze event on their usual crowd.
