Realworld Music Deal

With the support of Equal ICI, Moseley Sound Recordings? (MSR) is running a world music project with Birmingham-based musicians. Seven Hills in Texas and the World Music Orchestra are currently recording an album due to be published by Peter Gabriel?s company, Realworld.

MSR is helping these musicians, many of whom are refugees, to become industry ready. They are assisting their membership into professional musician associations and increasing their potential for working as session players.

The amount of talent here in Birmingham is incredible. Musicians from around the world are living in Birmingham and have a lot of to offer the industry. Our project has created interest from the likes of Realworld and Womad. *John Hemming, MSR

The album?s launch will be accompanied by live performances and workshops at the Midlands Art Centre and also a natioanl tour.
