There are links to other sites that can help you with specific tasks, like writing your CV, as well as links to sites that provide information about recruitment in different sectors of the industry. Think how much better you?ll sound in an interview if you?ve found out something about the company you want to work for.

You should approach the Last Mile resources just as you would any other research task.

• Have a clear idea of the information that you are looking for before you start ? this may change as you find out more about your subject, but it will help you focus on relevant material if you are clear from the start.
• Read the relevant material through once so that it is clear in your head, then read it through again and make notes to remind yourself of the most important parts.
• Make sure you include where the information came from in your notes ? this is particularly important if you follow links to other web sites, as it can be very frustrating having to retrace your steps on line.
